Jane Trowell

Jane is an artist, curator, writer and educator who currently provides continuity support for ‘Voices that Shake!’, the youth-led, arts, race programme, hosted by Platform, London. She has a longstanding relationship with Platform, supporting its activism, education and research towards empowering communities. Jane has lectured at Universities within the UK and is currently completing a PhD in whiteness and coloniality in art and art education. She was part of the founding team for Voices that Shake! (2010–2012), and has supported Shake! through fundraising and advocacy building.
