Kerstin Mey, PhD, MA, PGDIp, FRSA, FLFHE

Kerstin is President of the University of Limerick. Kerstin was the first woman to head a university in Ireland. She held positions in a number of universities in Germany and the United Kingdom before moving to Limerick. Kerstin has successfully initiated and implemented pioneering academic programmes, research programmes, and cultural projects. She champions inclusivity and widening access to higher education and has headed up major structural and organisational culture change projects. Kerstin is an experienced member/ chair of Boards and review/ evaluation panels.
