About the Event

During this workshop you will learn the process for developing your black and white film, a good introduction to the magic of analogue photography.

Using Patterson film tanks and standard photographic chemistry you will develop your own film. The course will cover the loading of the film onto the film spiral, mixing the chemistry, adjusting temperature, processing, washing and drying.  Suitable for complete beginners or those in need of a refresher.

You will need to bring with you an exposed black and white film, everything else that you need for this workshop will be supplied. Film can be purchased from The Margate School in advance. We stock Ilford HP5 black and white film which can be bought from the school for £8 a roll.
