"It will be a year this November since I took on my first studio space in Margate and I've had a great time working here. In January I moved into my studio at The Margate School and it has been a marvellous experience being part of the creative energy that this place generates. In June I held my first show ever Jump in the Deep End and enjoyed using the space as if I was doing one of the press shows I designed for retail clients during my career in advertising as a photographic stylist. Now it is time for my second show and this one I'm calling Great Expectations."

In this exhibition, Sue continues to work with scale, using small abstract acrylic images as the basis for a series of giclee prints. Alongside this she has created a new body of work using repurposed artist proofs made at The Margate School by incorporating them into collage /paintings.

Themes of the sea and travel on rivers, canals and locks continue to influence the colours and textures of the abstract shapes.
