Light & Life at Pie Factory in Margate's Old Town
Trix Newham (whose artist studio is based in The Margate School) has teamed up with watercolour and ink artist Sian C Morgan to present a beautiful exhibition at Pie Factory in Margate's Old Town.
Using abstract motifs Trix at ‘LUX Pottery’ marries the trinity of aestheticism, functionality and originality, creating unusual shapes and textures on beautifully useful objects for interiors.
Sian C. Morgan ' Something Familiar' explores the coastal life of Thanet through watercolour and ink drawings, initially with studies of lonely wind shelters, more recently Sian has captured many architectural icons familiar to the denizens of ‘The Isle’.
Light & Life is on at Pie Factory (5 Broad Street, Margate, CT9 1EW) from 1-6 December 2023 and opens daily from 10:30am - 5:30p, (closing at 2pm on 6th Dec).
