With less than 2 weeks to go, we're excited to announce two new events have been added to this year's programme of @margatefestivalofdesign!

24 Sept, 6 - 7pm, How To Find Inspiration Anytime Anywhere:

We’re delighted to welcome @mamimutokyo to our Festival line up. MAMIMU (June Mineyama-Smithson) is a London-based Japanese artist/graphic designer on a mission to spread optimism. Lecturer at UAL, D&AD judge and speaker at Birmingham Design Festival and Design Manchester. Her bold joyful work has been featured internationally on ITV, Creative Boom, Design Milk, SCMP and Cow Parade Niseko.

25 Sept, 1 - 2pm, TMS Community Garden Tour:

Our very own Estelle Rosenfeld (@estellerosa) has also joined our Festival line up. Estelle Rosenfeld joined The Margate School as the Creative Exchange Coordinator in November 2021 and set our community garden into motion shortly after, adding the title of Garden Coordinator to her hat. When she’s not busy at The Margate School, she works as a participatory artist and creative producer.
