Margate Festival of Design is an annual festival of talks, workshops and exhibitions that invites you to celebrate and explore inspiring design projects and innovations that can help create a better future for people and planet, in Margate, Thanet and beyond.

At this year’s festival we’ll be celebrating inclusive and accessible design.  Because good design must connect with everyone, regardless of ability, age, gender, sex, sexual orientation, race, culture, belief and individual circumstance.

The festival is produced by The Margate School, an independent art school founded on the principle that creativity, in all its forms, must connect with and benefit society and nature. We believe that designers and creative thinkers across all disciplines must play a vital, even radical role in bringing about the changes we need, starting in our community.
