Christy Johnson, MA, BA

Christy has a background in contemporary fine art with knowledge and experience of working within HE, art in the public realm, and establishing links with local, regional, and international partners for creative collaborations. Her most recent roles have included: Vice Principal Academic at Plymouth College of Art in Devon, UK; Professor and Chair of the Art Department at Cornish College of the Arts in Seattle, Washington, USA; and Principal Lecturer and Associate Dean, School of Fine Arts at University for the Creative Arts in Kent, UK. She supports artist-led initiatives that explore new paradigms for learning and creative practice through transdisciplinary research and the formation of inventive alliances.
