About the Event

What you can expect from one of our Visitor Days:

  • In-person introductions and discussions about your chosen programme with the course coordinator
  • Tour of The Margate School, its facilities, teaching space, and studios
  • Presentation and introduction to The Margate School, our history, ethics, values, and our community.

Each Visitor Day will coincide with an exhibition so you can have an introduction to the local art scene and learn more about the artists and organisations we work with. We encourage visitors to explore the surrounding area and get a taste of what else Margate can offer you.
