"The Margate School is a little utopia where thoughts and ideas can come to live and breathe outside the confines of the everyday."
European Fine Art Masters alumni
The exhibition brings a mixed group show of exceptional artwork to The Margate Gallery at TMS. Each piece has been generously donated and its sale will create funds to offer financial support to students at TMS.
Read below to see the benefits of studying at The Margate School and how in purchasing one of these artworks you will be creating an opportunity for growth, employability and development of practice.
"This time for me to study and discover a sound community while developing my practice has been an invaluable resource and one that I would not have been able to do if it weren't for the generosity of the school and accepting me on a fully paid for bursary. I am a working class, young parent and now full time carer for my disabled mother and being a part of the school has made me feel for the first time in a long time that it is possible for me to still achieve and develop despite the social barriers I face."

"I did the Visual Communication course, and it was exactly what I needed to get out of my creative block. I learnt how to translate my creativity into something I can actually be employed for. I made contacts (and friends!) in the local community, and I found my voice."
Visual Communication Design alumni
The Margate School and community are deeply grateful to the established artists that, by donating so generously, are enabling support and shaping the future of emerging fine artists, visual communicators, sound specialists, photographers and film makers.
If you are unable to visit The Margate School to view the artworks, they can be found on The Margate Gallery website HERE
